Unleash your French Mojo
You get by in French - but you're not feeling the language
You don't have fun speaking it. You feel like you've been trying forever, but you keep making the same mistakes over and over again (is "mistake" a boy or a girl?!). You're disappointed and frustrated. In your head, you sound like Marion Cotillard in La Môme, but when you open your mouth, you feel like a 5-year-old.
You walk out of a get-together, dinner, or meeting in French during which you had a million things you wanted to say but couldn't. Every word got stuck somewhere between your brain and your mouth. You're afraid to be on your own for more than 3 minutes. What if someone came talking to you? You might answer, "Je te couplaw!" like Joey in Friends (listen to Joey).
Or maybe you have a hobby you're passionate about, but French keeps getting in the way. You really want to go to this event, but you're terrified at the idea of having to actually talk to people in real life, or even worse, during a Zoom call. What if some people ask you to join them for a drink or dinner? All you can think about is how many glasses of (delicious) wine it would take for you to feel confident enough to express your opinions and feel better than you would if you opted out.
Enough said, I'm more than ready
What if speaking French made you feel good?
Imagine finally having fun speaking French, feeling super confident now that you know you're able to achieve something you had almost given up on. In your head, you sound like you, and you're happy with that. You're not holding yourself back anymore.
You're not afraid of expressing yourself during get-togethers, dinners, and meetings. When your friend, partner, or child walks away and you're on your own, you seize the opportunity to talk to people you don't already know, about whether or not Sauterne should be drunk with Roquefort (yes, it's a thing), because you can talk about anything you want.
You're creating links and relationships with your French-speaking colleagues outside of formal meetings. You feel great having a glass of wine or a bite after work. You're not feeling held back anymore. You feel relief.
You can take your hobby to a whole new level, and deep down, you might even want to make it a career someday. You go to conferences and conventions, no longer thinking about averting your eyes from anyone trying to talk to you.
Actually, you make eye contact, and you ask people if they want to have dinner because you don't care about what anyone thinks of your French. You just love it.
IF THAT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT'S NOT.

Ready to see what this package includes?
Before our session together, you'll receive a few questions to answer in French, so I have an idea of your level. You'll also get a questionnaire about what type of learner you are. And finally, I'll ask you to watch a short video about the brain. This will give you some understanding of how your brain works, trust me, it's very useful moving forward.
Step 1, Let's explore together
We meet for a 90-minute session to talk about your motivation, your vision, and how to get from one to the other. Together we'll determine the goals you want to reach and figure out which specific actions will get you there.
By the end of our session, you'll be very clear on what particular part of the language you need to work on. You'll have defined exactly in which situations you want to improve your French, and precisely by what date. You'll also be aware of what you can do to keep your brain calm and in the best possible state for learning.
Step 2, Now try on your own (I won't be far)
After our meeting, you'll have 2 weeks to implement the actions outlined in your plan. You'll explore different activities discussed during the session and find out how you learn best. You'll spend time observing how your mind responds to different situations when faced with French, paying attention to your reactions is an eye-opening experience.
You will have access to me through email. I will answer any doubts and questions you might have during those 2 weeks.
Step 3, How did it go?
We'll talk again for 30 minutes at the end of the 2 weeks to discuss what you've learned. At this point, you'll know a bit more about how you learn, what you can realistically ask of yourself, and if your actions were as efficient as you wanted them to be. You'll be able to identify your stress triggers and understand your reactions to the French language.
You're finally taking charge of your language learning. This time, you're in the driver's seat, and you have a GPS (me!) that will take you exactly where you want to go.
